A saying says “true beauty comes from within”. But this is easy to say, if one’s own sight in the mirror does not like and the skin simply does not play: large pores, pimples, rednesses, eye rings, wrinkles and so the list could go on endlessly.
So what does “beauty come from within”? This can mean different things:
- The function of internal organs
- The radiance, therefore, feel good in his skin
If you feel good in your skin, it also has a better charisma. But how do you feel in your skin? Especially if the skin is not perfect or makes problems?
This wellbeing includes both physical as well as emotional wellbeing. In English there is the term “self-care”, which means all the things with which one can do something good physically and mentally. And indeed in a way that is really good for us and not to be confused with an excuse for unhealthy grind and physical inertia! Especially the Christmas season, which can be both stressful and contemplative, is ideal for something more “self-care”!
For more physical wellbeing:
- Book a massage or massage yourself
- Physical movement from joy instead of self-optimization

- No screens (mobile phone, tablet, PC, TV) after 7 pm
- Go to bed early
For more mental wellbeing:
- Take time for yourself
- Write diary
- Read something positive (fiction or not)
- Meditating
- Create something with the hands: paint, crafts
- Do not get excited about trifles
- Say “no” instead of a “yes” out of politeness and false sense of duty
If you take some time for yourself every day, not only on the weekend, on holidays or during Christmas, and then do something good, you will surely feel more comfortable and more comfortable in your skin!
